FIVE FOUL PROOF WAYS TO SPEED UP YOUR ANDROID DEVICES

Have you ever experienced slowness when navigating through your android device? Yes, you definitely have at one point in time. Loading files and browsing through menus might take some time. I used to have such trouble with my device which made me conclude that my device was faulty. I was about changing it when a friend of mine advised me on what to do.
Before sharing with you how to speed up your device, you need to know the causes of slowness in devices which includes running too many applications at a time, viruses, too many programs stored in the phone memory, etc.
But you don’t have to worry. In order to boost your device speed, follow the steps listed below:
        i.            LIVE WALLPAPERS SHOULD BE TURNED OFF: Wallpapers are very vital as they add beauty and improve the graphical display of your device’s screen. Imagine a phone without wallpaper! You simply cannot compare it with one which has wallpaper. But the sad thing here is that live wallpapers slow down your phone as animations on the live wallpapers require power to keep it running. You need to disable the live wallpaper to improve navigation speed on your device.
ii.            REMOVE UNUSED WIDGETS: for the benefit of those new to android, widgets are mini apps that run your home screen. Your device comes with many by default which includes a clock and home screen tips widget. In order to speed up your menu navigation, it is of great importance that you remove all unused widgets from the background. By doing this, you will avoid slow performance when using your device.
iii.            AVOID USING HOME KEY TO CLOSE APPS, RATHER USE THE BACK KEY: The heading has said it all. When running an application on your device and you tap the home key, the application will not close but it will be minimized. Now assuming that you are running a game (let’s say Sudoku) and you tap the home key to access your gallery with the game still running. As you are browsing through your gallery, you tap the home key on your screen again to access another folder. You continue tapping your home screen to access other apps without closing the previous ones you opened. By opening all these apps, much of your phone memory and space will be consumed thereby causing your device to be slow in performance. So what do you do now?         To check running apps, hold down the home key and select task manager then end unused apps.
iv.            USE MEMORY CARD TO STORE APPS:  Your device will run faster and smoother with enough free memory. The freer your phone memory is, the more rapidly you’ll navigate and enjoy your device. Now compare your android device to your PC. It will run faster and smoother if your programs are saved in an external device, but if your laptop   is loaded with programs it will eventually run slowly.                                                                                      So on a final note, it is advisable for you to move your apps and files from your phone memory to your memory card. This will free your phone memory and speedup navigation on your android device.
THE FINAL RESORT You might have tried some if not all of the methods listed above and still your android device continues to run slow, slower than expected. Yes, like I just said, it is possible for you to have turned off live wallpapers running on your devices screen, removed all unused gadgets, close your apps by tapping exit or back button rather than minimizing them with the home key, you might also have moved your files and programs to your memory card but your device still runs slow, very slow. The last option you have here is to reset your device. Yes, do factory reset for your device because the problem might be caused by some installed apps. By doing factory reset, all changes will be restored to its default state.
