Facebook to check if you uploaded the photos initially, but you can’t find them there. You search the web and all your backup devices, but couldn’t get them. If this scenario relates to you, then you need not worry again as you are in the right place. Read on to discover how to recover deleted photos on android device.
The first action to save your
photos is to quickly turn off data connection and Wi-Fi on your smartphone. Why
should you turn off your data connections? The reason is to avoid data to be
written over the lost pictures (you will need to grant root privileges on your
smartphone in order to get the photos back).
Here are things you’ll need in
order to recover lost photos on android:
i.
A PC.
ii.
USB cord.
iii.
Dr Fone for android (computer program. Get it free here).
Now the steps:
2.
With Dr. Fone running, connect your android
using a USB cord. For your USB to work perfectly, make sure debugging is
enabled on your smartphone. To get USB debugging enabled, navigate to
settings> about phone. At this point, tap repeatedly on the build number
until you are notified that developer options are enabled. Now go back to your
main settings, scroll down to the developer options and tap it. Then look for
USB debugging and click on the check box just beside it. Once this is done, Dr.
Fone will notify you that the USB debugging is enabled.
3.
From here, Dr. Fone is connected to your android
device and you can browse through many deleted files categories, and thick on
any category you wish (mind you, we are dealing with how to recover deleted
photos from android, so we will focus on photos here).
4.
After ticking on these photo files, the next
step is to scan either for deleted files or all files. To quickly recover your
lost pictures, click on ‘deleted files’. Clicking on this will prompt a popup
window (RSA key prompt) asking you to allow it. You should accept it. Well, it
is advisable that you check the ‘always accept’ option so as to make things
easier and ensure a secured connection between your smartphone and your PC.
5.
At this stage, Dr. Fone begins scanning your
android device, bringing up various popups along the way. You don’t need to
worry seeing this popups. Just relax as Dr. fone continues the recovery process
for your lost files.
6.
After relaxing and allowing Dr. Fone to finish
scanning (scan time depends on how large the files you want to recover is), you
will get your scan results on your screen from where you should check the box
of the photos you wish to save. You are 99.9% done! Click on recover and
congrats, your photos are back!
Yes, congratulations! You no
longer need to have a sad day just because you deleted some lovely photos of
yours accidentally and never knew you could get them back. Have it at the back
of your mind that you can always use this method here to recover other files,
not just photos.
If you have deleted photos mistakenly before,
